This project was a semester‑long strategic analysis of Kohl’s, where my team conducted financial, industry, and consumer research to evaluate the company’s current position and identify opportunities for growth. Our final presentation synthesized quantitative data, market trends, and competitive insights into a cohesive set of recommendations supported by research‑driven rationale.

A response to Timothy Keller’s Counterfeit Gods, this paper explores the subtle but pervasive ways money becomes an idol in modern life. Drawing on Keller’s arguments, biblical texts, and personal reflection, it examines how cultural forces like capitalism, career ambition, and “catch‑up culture” shape our desires and distort our sense of flourishing. The paper reflects on the Christian call to resist these pressures through integrity, discernment, and a re‑centered heart oriented toward God.
